When I first met Cara and Wesley, the first thing I took in about them was that they are both pretty tall(!). As soon as I introduced myself, it was immediate to me how kind they both are. There is so much I can say about Cara and Wesley and their wedding day, but one word can really sum everything up: love. It made my heart so happy to witness these two coming together as one, surrounded by their wonderful family and friends. As I was editing the photos, I couldn’t help but smile as I saw Cara’s contagious smile pop up in so many of the frames. Cara and Wesley are so in love, and were so excited to be married. They are also some of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you so much Cara and Wesley!
Griffin is my little cousin. Ok, he’s really not little anymore because he just graduated from high school on Sunday, but he will always be little to me! I’m heading up to Michigan today to celebrate his graduation this weekend, so I wanted to share his senior session from when our family went to the beach last summer. Love you Griffin!
So being from Michigan, bridal sessions are one of the (many) things I learned about after moving down South. I’m sure photographers in the Mitten shoot these types of portraits, but I had never heard of them and didn’t know of anyone that had ever done them! So it was a super fun experience shooting Cara’s bridal session. First of all, Cara is probably one of the sweetest people I have ever met (along with her now husband, Wesley!) And secondly, we got to get portraits at some spots we didn’t have time to go to on her wedding day, like the church she grew up attending. I’m excited to share these now that Cara and Wesley have said “I do!”
