Griffin is my little cousin. Ok, he’s really not little anymore because he just graduated from high school on Sunday, but he will always be little to me! I’m heading up to Michigan today to celebrate his graduation this weekend, so I wanted to share his senior session from when our family went to the beach last summer. Love you Griffin!
So being from Michigan, bridal sessions are one of the (many) things I learned about after moving down South. I’m sure photographers in the Mitten shoot these types of portraits, but I had never heard of them and didn’t know of anyone that had ever done them! So it was a super fun experience shooting Cara’s bridal session. First of all, Cara is probably one of the sweetest people I have ever met (along with her now husband, Wesley!) And secondly, we got to get portraits at some spots we didn’t have time to go to on her wedding day, like the church she grew up attending. I’m excited to share these now that Cara and Wesley have said “I do!”
Tupelo High School had their graduation this weekend, and I thought it was fitting to share my last senior of the year to coincide with the exciting event! I had a great time shooting with Mallie. By the end of the shoot, she was model status. Loved her outfits too! So we were shooting on these stairs in front of an old home when a car pulls up. This man said he lived down the street and saw that we were taking photos, and said we could go take photos in front of his house where his flowers were in bloom! It was so nice of him to stop and offer that to us, so we went and got some shots in front of these beautiful flowers! (I think it was a snowball bush, but I’m no green-thumb!)
Congratulations to the class of 2016!
