Rachel and John chose the perfect fall day to get married. The venue they chose was the Oak Hill Stables, which I think is one of the best kept secrets in the area! It is such a gorgeous venue with the outdoor chapel, and the pool house and patio made for a unique spot for the reception. We started off with getting ready photos at the venue. After some detail photos (check out Rachel’s custom-made blue  Rachel’s mom and sister helped her get ready (they brought a crochet hook to button all the buttons on Rachel’s beautiful dress, very smart!) before we did the first look in the outdoor chapel. John was all smiles once he turned around and saw his bride. We went to a few different spots for photos around the grounds, and then Rachel gave each of her parents a sweet, meaningful gift (there were definitely some happy tears shed!). Guests started arriving for the ceremony, and Rachel walked down the aisle arm in arm with her father. After the happy couple said “I do!” it was time for the reception. Guests mingled alongside the pool and pool house, and Rachel and John cut their cakes. Dancing started, with many of the guests joining in, including John’s mom and dad, who could really bust a move! The couple ended their wedding with a popper exit, before heading out west for their honeymoon. Congratulations to Rachel and John!

Victoria and Brandon started their day at the historic Rosedale home in Columbus. It’s absolutely stunning if you ever get a chance to check it out! It’s an antebellum home that’s also a family home. These two are good friends of mine, and I was so honored when they asked me to be their wedding photographer! And it was so fun knowing them and a lot of the guests that attended, a very unique and fun experience from a photographer’s perspective! Friends Melissa did Victoria’s hair and makeup, Ellie helped as the wedding day coordinator and Michael helped out behind the scenes and helping set things up! Victoria and Brandon exchanged letters before their first look, and it was so sweet getting to witness that moment between them, and the build up to the first look. We took tons of portraits with Rosedale as the backdrop and Victoria’s long veil as the perfect bridal accessory (doesn’t she look stunning by the way?!). And we took some portraits with their beautiful pups, Deacon and Scarlett. Victoria and her father rode up to the ceremony in a horse and carriage, it was seriously straight out of a fairy tale! Her mother and father walked her down the aisle, and their friend Doug married them. It was a lovely ceremony, and after, everyone headed to the barn for the reception. They had so many fun details, like a monogram W light displayed on the wall, to a spooky bridal illustration of Victoria! A few tears were shed at the thoughtful speeches, and they couple shared their first dance under the stars. It was such a fun reception! Everyone was dancing and having a great time! It was such a wonderful day! Congratulations, Brandon and Victoria!
