Haley+Tanner//wedding
Haley and Tanner's wedding day was pretty perfect. Haley knew exactly what she wanted when she envisioned their big day, and she and their friends and family really knocked it out of the park making it all a reality. Much of the decor was DIY, and y'all- everything was stunning! It was a beautiful fall day at Southwind, and Haley got ready with the help of her mother. She did a bridesmaid reveal with her girls, it's such a fun moment to capture! Tanner is a police officer, and a few of his groomsmen are fellow officers, so they made sure to get some awesome portraits together. Haley and Tanner first saw each other as Haley was walking down the aisle with her father, at the edge of the lake. Along the aisle were signs from 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8, and it was the perfect backdrop for a lovely ceremony. The rings were accidentally left upstairs, but their officiant, the Rev. Steve Casteel, did not miss a beat, and the ceremony continued on as planned. After Haley and Tanner walked down the aisle as husband and wife, they exchanged rings inside. It was fun from a photographer's perspective because I've never been that close up for the exchanging of rings! After, we started taking portraits. It was right before sunset, aka the perfect light! The bride and groom rocked it, even if it was pretty chilly. After they headed inside to have a seated dinner with their guests, before the first dances and cutting the cake. At the end of the night, the couple ran off with a birdseed exit. These two have such big hearts, and so much love for each other. Congratulations Haley and Tanner!
